The Colorado ZR2 arrived with a specific mission — to build a mid-size truck that could outperform full-size off-road pickups on technical terrain while being a foot narrower and 500 pounds lighter for better trail access. Multimatic DSSV spool-valve dampers — the same technology found on the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and various race cars — replace conventional shock absorbers and deliver a level of suspension sophistication that no competitor offered at any price in this segment. Front and rear electronic locking differentials, a wider track, two inches of additional suspension lift, and cast-iron front control arms come standard — not as packages or add-ons. Finished in Graphite Metallic, this ZR2 looks as purposeful as it performs.

Front and rear electronic locking differentials give the ZR2 traction options that most trucks double the price cannot match, and the wider front and rear track adds stability on uneven terrain that narrows the gap between a mid-size truck and a full-size off-roader considerably. Graphite Metallic suits the ZR2's aggressive wide-body stance — the flared fenders, lifted suspension, and rock sliders underneath communicate capability without needing bright paint to do it. The ZR2-specific front and rear bumpers provide improved approach and departure angles over the standard Colorado, and the rock sliders protect the rocker panels on technical terrain where most trucks would be taking damage. Inside, heated front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay keep the cabin connected and comfortable regardless of where the trail leads.
